Allison Freeman

Coach Allison's Bio

"Volleyball has always been a passion of mine and now, with coaching, I hope I get to instill that passion within these girls."

Coach Allison’s love for the game of volleyball began when she was 11 years old and she has played competitively for over half of her life. The first time Allison got her “feet wet” coaching was in high school when she would assist with the running camps for the younger players.

This season will be her fifth season with Outbreak. While a student athlete playing at Virginia Wesleyan College, Allison first jumped into coaching Club Volleyball as the assistant coach with Coach Keith for 16 Black. The following year she was the head coach of the 12 Black team, then moved up with her players to be the 13 Black assistant. Coach Allison then took a few years off from coaching – only to come back to Outbreak to rejoin Coach Keith for the 2021 season as the Assistant for the 17 White team. For the 2022 season she will be moving to 18 Black with Coach Keith.

Coach Allison’s playing career spans over a decade, and she brings her knowledge, skill and competitive drive to the teams she coaches. She started playing at 11 years old, has played middle school (JJV), JV, HS Varsity, travel volleyball (4 yrs), then attended Virginia Wesleyan College as a four-year player for the Marlins.
