Coach Gomer's Bio
"I LIVE & BREATHE Volleyball!!! I love teaching and showing others, including my family, how to love the sport so they may do the same."
Coach Gomer is entering his third year with Outbreak Volleyball. He has been coaching volleyball and other sports for over 7 years.
Coach Gomer’s volleyball coaching path started out as a volleyball parent who took his daughter to practices and games in recreational volleyball. He decided to volunteer as a coach to progress his daughter and her team further. Throughout the years, Gomer has gained knowledge and expanded his knowledge of volleyball partly from seeking out mentors and through experience and building relationships with players, parents, and other coaches, to eventually land his volleyball coaching career at Outbreak.
Coach loves working with young athletes to help them learn and love the game of volleyball. He focuses on building skills and taking them to the next level while keeping it fun and rewarding. Gomer has two children, and they are both regularly active on the volleyball court. In his spare time, he loves to play whenever he has the chance, while also working in time for other sports like tennis, basketball, and ping pong, and playing video games. He enjoys the simple things in life such as watching movies and hanging out with family and friends.
